We hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa — and any other holiday you may celebrate ✨

I’m back from a 2-week break and ready to kick things into overtime. During my time off, I’ve been working behind the scenes on a number of changes and improvements to how we operate, all aimed at delivering a direct improvement to your service.

Before we look ahead, here’s a quick recap of 2025:

A look back at 2025

2025 was a busy year for us.

  • 100% ArcaneOS transition
    We fully transitioned to 100% ArcaneOS, rebuilding a lot of our monitoring and automation tools to work with the new system. This means that once Progressive Node Rewards go live, our nodes will be eligible.

  • BIP44 wallet migrations
    Throughout the year, we helped hundreds of customers transition their nodes to a BIP44 wallet, ensuring their crypto is protected and secure with as little downtime as possible.

  • Brand refresh (September)
    GoldieTech Nodes got a fresh lick of paint with a new brand image. I’ll always love the old look of GTN, but the new look better embodies the smooth, simple experience we aim to deliver.

  • Flux PoUW transition (October)
    Flux transitioned to Proof of Useful Work, moving away from GPU mining in favour of node validation for blocks. We went through the transition on fork day, then spent the following two weeks supporting the dev team in fixing bugs and patching issues that arose post-fork.

Pricing Update (Reduction)

Since we started hosting nodes almost 4 years ago, our running costs have pretty much doubled — but we’ve never increased prices once, a fact I’m genuinely proud of.

With new improvements in efficiency, bulk ordering, and updated agreements with our providers, I’m excited to announce:

✅ We will be lowering our prices from January 2026.

These price reductions will be applied to all customers’ services automatically, and will also be reflected on the site for new orders.

PayPal subscribers: If you have a PayPal auto-billing setup, you may need to cancel and recreate it to adjust to the new recurring price (PayPal does not do this automatically).

We’ll post the full new pricing table in early January.

What’s Next?

This is only the start:

  • Over the coming year, the aim is to lower prices further as we transition to an increasing percentage of in-house hosting.

  • We’ll be expanding the range of services we offer within the Flux ecosystem to better utilise the growing capability of the Flux network.

  • We’re working on a whole new website with added functionality and a completely new, sleek design — paired with enhanced notification tools for users.

  • The affiliate program will be getting a facelift and a new loyalty system will be implemented, with new perks such as exclusive giveaways, bulk discounts, and more.

  • We’re also scoping out the possibility of branching out into hosting for a wider range of projects beyond Flux.
